I’m a web/software developer from Adelaide, with some design chops (that’s slang for I can design websites and grow side burns).

• Much like a five year old clarifying he’s five and 10 months; I’m approaching 4 years commercial experience.
• I’ve got a Zend PHP5 Certification and am mainly self taught.
• My focus has been on PHP software development.
  • I generally steer toward frameworks (Symfony2, ZendFramework and CakePHP) and away from CMS(s).
  • Keen to Unit/Integration/Web test and re-factor(besides the obvious PHPUnit, I’ve used SimpleTest during a CakePHP project).
• I’m never too far away from a Ubuntu machine or a Ubuntu Server VPS, but am getting tempted by the Mac side of the force.
• I like to learn new stuff and blow money to try it well.
  • I’m a slight Vidiot at times and need to get a few more films under my belt.
  • Buying RubyMine whilst learning RoR was a little cheaper then thousands of dollars worth of DSLR filming gear.
  • I was not so lucky with my recent treadmill desk purchase.
