I’m a web/software developer from Adelaide Australia who missed his calling to play for the 36ers.

  • I've been a commercial dev since the start of 2009 and TAFE dropout twice. Oh no, I'm the old guy now.
  • Currently habit forming around walking, consuming mandarin and meditation.
  • My focus has been on software development.
    • I generally steer toward frameworks (React, Sails.js) and away from CMS(s).
    • I automate video production with OBS.
    • Keen to Unit and Integration test.

I made a journaling app for myself. The original idea was that you wrote a letter at night and then gratitude journaled in the morning; to help you out of bed. I believe it was my first real world Redux application.

I made a raw JavaScript game demo from scratch. I had done some Flash tutorials — so I understood the idea of a game loop. I probably didn't give browsers enough credit as to handling modern JavaScript without a compiler.
